Nuclear Sclerotic
Cataract This nuclear sclerotic cataract patient is a 76-year-old
music teacher whose chief complaint is incapacitating glare which made
it impossible for her to drive at night. This patient's Snellen acuity
was fairly good at 20/40, but she had a greater than 89% loss in contrast
sensitivity, which would significantly impact her functional vision
performance.
